Mr. Erik Berger, Chairman of INTPOW

Erik Berger is an independent consultant. He joined the renewable sector in 2008 and spent recently over three years with Innotech Solar AS.  Prior to this he spent close to 15 years in the Private Equity and Venture Capital industry.  In addition he has experience from telecommunication, the software industry, the oil&gas sector and the Royal Norwegian Navy. He holds an engineering degree (BSc Electronics) from Høgskolen i Oslo in Norway (1987) and an MBA from EM Lyon in France (1993).

Mr. Øivind Johansen, Ministry of Petroleum and Energy

Mr. Johansen is an Assistant Director General in the Norwegian Ministry of Petroleum and Energy, Department for Climate, Industry and Technology. He graduated from the University of Oslo in 1992 with a degree of Master of Law.

Mr. Johansen’s previous and current field of work in the Ministry comprises a. o. energy law including power market regulations, hydropower licensing and watercourse management. Current work especially relates to the energy industry and international renewable energy issues.
 
Besides his responsibilities in the Norwegian government Mr. Johansen holds a range of positions in national and international organisations. For example, he is the Norwegian focal point for the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), a member of the REN 21 Steering Committee, a member of the steering committees for the Hydro 2010, 2011 and 2012 conferences and observer to the Board of the International Hydropower Association. In addition he acts as the coordinator of the political network to harmonise energy and water management issues within the World Water Forum 6.

Mr. Ola Storberg, Ministry of Foreign Affairs

Ola Storberg is Senior Adviser in the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Section for the High North, Polar Affairs, Energy and Resources.

Prior to joining the foreign service in 2000, he started his career in Norges Bank focusing on financial stability. In the MFA, he has worked in the fields of UN affairs and energy issues. He has been posted at the Norwegian Embassy in Bangkok and in Washington D.C. In 2009, Mr. Storberg joined the World Bank Group as a Senior Advisor to the Board of Executive Directors, where his  responsibilities included renewable energy and sustainable development. Mr. Storberg holds a Master of History/International Relations from the University of Oslo.

The Ministry has an observational status on the board.
 

Ms. Anne Marit Skulberg, Ministry of Trade and Industry

Anne Marit Skulberg is Senior Adviser in the Norwegian Ministry of Trade and Industry.

She has a broad business experience from working more than 25 years with the Norwegian industry, both within the industry and as a consultant. She is now in the Trade Policy Department, international section in the ministry. She holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Chemical Engineering from The Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in 1983, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Brunel University, England in 1988.

The Ministry has an observational status on the board.

Mr. Bård Benum, Powel AS

Powel AS provides business critical software solutions to the energy sector. Mr. Benum has 20 years long experience from different management positions within energy and finance business in Norway. He has a Master of Science degree within Industrial Economics from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology.

Ms. Hilde Gillebo, Agua Imara

Ms. Gillebo has broad experience from business and project development of hydropower projects in Asia, Africa and Central America. She has been involved in most facets of hydropower projects, from evaluation of business opportunities through to construction. She serves as a board member in LHPC, a hydropower company in Zambia and FIC, a company constructing and developing hydropower plants in Panama.

Prior to joining the SN Power Group and Agua Imara, Ms. Gillebo worked as a Management Consultant in Accenture, mainly within the retail industry and the automotive industry. She has also worked in the oil and gas industry in Europe for a major offshore construction contractor.

Ms. Gillebo is a graduate of Harvard Business School’s general management program. She further holds a Master of Science from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and is a Second Lieutenant from the Royal Norwegian Air Force.
 

Mr. Jan Pedersen, Agder Energi

Mr. Jan Pedersen is Senior Adviser in Agder Energi AS. Recent experience includes 10 years as Vice President in Agder Energi AS (2000 – 2010) and CEO of Kristiansand Energiverk AS (1995 – 2000).

Mr. Pedersen has more than 30 years of professional experience from the power sector working with hydropower projects and deregulation questions both in Norway and abroad. He has the last 10 years been member of various fact-finding missions abroad to identify projects within the power sector that would be possible to develop and build for potential investors.

Jan Pedersen holds a M.Sc. degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Technology in Trondheim, Norway.

Mr. Ketil Reed Aasgaard, Havgul Clean Energy AS

Ketil Reed Aasgaard is co-founder and CEO of wind power developer Havgul Clean Energy AS, with projects in Norway, Sweden and USA. Ketil is a former Partner of PricewaterhouseCoopers and Andersen Consulting. He has provided consulting services to international companies, governments and regulatory bodies, with more than 20 years of combined consulting and professional experience within the energy business. He graduated from the University of Mannheim, Germany in 1987 with a Master of Science in Business Administration, from NHH in Bergen in 1988 (CPA) as well as from BI in Oslo in 1997 (Master of Energy Management). 

Mr. Håkon Sannum, Multiconsult AS

Håkon Sannum is a Senior Advisor in Multiconsult AS. Multiconsult is a leading multidicipline consulting and engineering comany in Norway offering  their services  throughout Norway and abroad.

Mr. Sannum served as the Managing Director of Multiconsult from 2001 to 2011. Prior to 2001 he was employed with Aker for 27 years. Here he worked amongst other  as Project Director in some the biggest offshore EP and EPCI projects undertaken by Aker. In the last period of his employment in Aker he was Managing Director of Aker Engineering. Through his professional carreer he has gained wide experience in management, business development, project execution and strategy development in a wide rage of businesses. 

Mr. Svein Strømmen, IndustriConsult AS

Svein Strømmen is Managing Director of IndustriConsult AS

Mr. Strømmen has extensive experience from the renewable energy sector. He was until November 2012 the President and CEO of Rainpower, one of the leading suppliers of hydroelectric turbines and systems. He has an MSc degree in Extractive Metallurgy from The Technical University of Trondheim Norway and joined ABB Environmental in 1987 where he held various positions within sales, project execution and general management.  He was also the CEO and Country President for Alstom in Norway and Iceland for five years. He holds several board positions in the sector.
